The Team

Kai Wettlaufer

My name is Kai Wettlaufer and I was born on 12th July 1992 in Kassel. I'm in the 4th semester and I like civil law particularly company law. I applied for the Moot team to improve my Legal English, acquire soft skills and I want to get an impression how a lawyer works.

I'm interested in movies, books, sport and I like to meet with friends.

Daria Michel

I was born on 10th March 1992 in Russia. Since 2012 I am studying Law at the Justus-Liebig-Universität in Gießen and in the 3rd semester I finished my intermediate examination. I intend to improve my English skills,  to get practical experiences and  to meet people from all over the world, these were my reasons to participate in the Willem C. Vis.
In my spare time I like to read well written books and to hang out with my friends. Another passion of mine is writing in my beauty-, fashion- & lifestyle Blog.

Julian Schulte

I was born on the 28th May, 1993 in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia. There I also attended the Goethe Gymnasium. In July, 2012 I obtained my Abitur as well as my International Baccalaureate. In the same year I began my law studies at the Justus-Liebig-University in Gießen. After finishing my intermediate exam in the third semester, I am currently in the fourth semester of my studies. As my main area of interest is situated in the field of company law, I am planning to select business law as core area of my studies. From my participation in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot I expect to gain an insight into international commercial law as well as arbitration. The main reason for my participation in the moot was the possibility to act at an international level. Moreover, I am interested in meeting new people from all over the world. I also hope to improve my skills in the English language. After finishing my 1st state examination I would like to obtain an LL.M. degree in the UK.
